Coronavirus outbreak has thrown the sporting world in a quandary as the pandemic continues to take players/coaches in its tight grip.
In NBA, three players have tested positive for the virus, evoking a minimum 30-day hiatus on the NBA season.
Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert was the first NBA player to get COVID-19 followed by Christian Wood, the NBA forward player of Detroit Pistons’. Utah Jazz Star Donovan Mitchell is the third NBA star to test positive for the deadly virus.
The teams who have played in Utah are also in self-isolation.
Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta and Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi, have both tested positive, prompting the England’s football Premier League to cancel all its matches.
Evangelos Marinakis, the Olympiakos and Nottingham Forest owner has also contracted the virus.
Italian football team Juventus player, defender Daniele Rugani, has also tested positive. Sampdoria striker Manolo Gabbiadini is the second player from Juventus, also testing positive.
Colombian cyclist Fernando Gaviria and Russian Gazprom cyclist Dmitry Strakhov, have been identified with the virus too.

Celebrities including actors, singers and writers from all over the world have tested positive for the virus and have been vocal about their diagnosis.
Tom Hanks and his actress-singer wife Rita Wilson, were the first celebrity couple to go public about their infection, in Australia.
The famous actor Idris Alba also tweeted that he had coronavirus and is in isolation.
Kristofer Hivju, the actor from the movie “Game of Thrones”, declared that he had tested positive for the virus, in Norway.
“Quantum of Solace” actress, Olga Kurylenko told the world on her Instagram Post that she had tested positive for Covid-19 and is recuperating at home.
Rachel Matthews, the American actress, shared on her Instagram Story about testing positive for the novel coronavirus. She is living in quarantine.
Chilean writer Luis Sepulveda has also been infected with new Coronavirus, in Spain.
Political Domain
The whirlwind lives of politicians entail travel all across the globe, making them susceptible to infection. Many politicians have come out in open about their diagnosis and are working from home.
Politicians like Sophie Gregoire Trudeau, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s wife, Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, and Fabio Wajngarten, a public official in Brazil, have contracted COVID-19 and are dealing with the virus.
Spain’s equality minister Irene Montero and French Culture Minister Franck Riester have tested positive and are in quarantine.
British MP Nadine Dorries, a minister in the health department has tested positive.
The Vice President of Iran Massoumeh Ebtekar, and the deputy health minister of Iran Iraj Harirchi, have also been infected.
Australian Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton, is in quarantine after being infected.
