To solve this problem, I have collated the five best free courses and resources on cryptocurrency. With any of these courses, you will have basic knowledge of the topic. Let’s get to it!</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As a beginner, if you’re looking for a free crash course to learn the basics of cryptocurrency, then this comes highly recommended. In a short period, you will learn how to buy, sell and mine cryptocurrencies. So, if what you need is an introductory knowledge of what cryptocurrency is all about and how you can start, then this mini-course is for you.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">By market capitalization, Ethereum is the second-largest cryptocurrency, next to Bitcoin. On their website is a <a href="https://ethereum.org/en/learn/">learning section</a> where there is detailed information about the cryptocurrency. Here, you will learn not only the basics but also about contracts, updates, and the roadmap for Ethereum. That is not all, you will also get solid information on different perspectives and criticisms as well as how the whole ecosystem works. You will also find opinions and suggestions on how Ethereum can be improved. If you find yourself drawn to Ethereum, then this is a great resource for you. ;</p>

It starts with the foundation; basics of cryptocurrency, and builds up to Bitcoin. If you’re fascinated by Bitcoin, then this course should be on your bucket list. And the best part is that it is free. Although you don&#8217;t get a certificate at the end of the course, you learn a lot about cryptocurrency in general and Bitcoin in particular. In this course, you will learn the implementation and practice of decentralization, the workings of Bitcoin mining as well as the storage. There’s more; this course also explores altcoins and the future of cryptocurrency.</p>

This course, titled, Introduction to Digital Currencies, is the first course in the MSc program offered by the institution. It is taught by the author of Mastering Bitcoin, Andreas Antonopoulos. This course approaches cryptocurrency from a more theoretical angle. It helps you understand the background of cryptocurrencies. In addition, the course also focuses more on bitcoin and its practical implementation. In it, you will also learn about other cryptocurrencies as well as the relationship between financial institutions and digital currencies. If you’re interested in a comprehensive knowledge of cryptocurrency, especially Bitcoin, check out this course.</p>

At the end of the course, you will also have access to a thriving community of experts, entrepreneurs and enthusiasts of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency. There, you will get even more resources and knowledge.</p>
